This week is Holy Week! We would like to thank are Palm Sunday singers who did an excellent job.
For Science, we are learning about the three different types of rocks: Igneous Rock, Metamorphic Rock, and Sedimentary Rock. We are also learning about the rock cycle and how one rock (through weathering and erosion, heat and pressure, etc.) can form into a different rock.
In Math, the 7th grade is learning about 3-Dimensional Figures and their areas. The 8th grade is learning about The Measures of Central Tendency (Mean, Median, Mode, Range) and the Upper Quartile, Lower Quartile, and Interquartile Range.
In History, we have been watching the mini series Into the West to help us better understand the conflict between White Settlers and Native Americans and how they had to live to survive.
The 7th and 8th grade are selling shaves ice for $.50 per flavor and $.25 for any additional flavor. This is going to help us raise our goal for our class trip to San Diego. So far, we have reached about $760!
We would also like to thank our students who came and competed at the track and field meet. They all did really well and should be congratulated.
Atonement would like to remind you that Christ died for your sins so we wish all of you a Happy Easter!
