This week (March 31st – April 4th) we did a lot of things. The guys from APEX came down to our school and talked about leadership. 7th and 8th grade sold hot chocolate on Wednesday and Thursday.
8th grade learned about multiplying, dividing and finding the roots of monomials in math. For 7th math we learned tessellations, reflections and translations. 9th grade math learned trigonometry concepts.
In history we learned about Manifest Destiny gaining land from Spain and France.  We also learned in history about the Mexican war.
7th and 8th grade finished Shane the book and we are watching the movie. Our next book that we are going to read is The Outsiders.
            The 7th and 8th grade sold hot cocoa on Wednesday and Thursday for $2. On Wednesday we raised $88 and on Thursday morning we raised $24. We also sold hot cocoa on Thursday after school and we made $41. Overall we raised $153.
            Reminder for next Monday, 7th and 8th grade are having a fundraiser at Top That Frozen Yogurt shop. Top That Frozen Yogurt is located on 39th Ave & Happy Valley Rd in Stetson Village. The APEX guys are going to be here next week till our fun run on Thursday.
