Carrie the Polar Bear
By: Katie
Have you
ever wondered why there are craters on the moon? Well, it all started with a
polar bear named Carrie, who lives in Alaska.
Carrie loves the snow and the water. She loves water and snow so much because
she would play in it every morning. She would wander around all the time. It
was one of her favorite hobbies because she likes discovering new things.
One morning,
Carrie went out to wander around. She went to go for a nice, cool, swim, and
the water was really freezing! She got out, bouncing so high on to the moon.
She shivers and her teeth chatter for a few moments. Carrie took a long breath,
and then walked away, leaving tracks behind her. The tracks were huge from her
stomping, because she was super cold.
After wandering
for a long time, she found a cave. She still stays in the cave to keep warm. To
this day, you can still see Carrie’s tracks in the snow, leading to her cave.
