This week in Science we were learning about Meiosis and Mitosis, the chromosomal ride. We will be taking our science test on chapter four of our science book.  

There is a sign up for our bake sale in the seventh and eighth grade classroom. Your child’s item must be in by Wednesday the twelfth. We are also having a fund raiser at Top That frozen yogurt on April seventh. Twenty percent of the proceeds will go to us for our trip to California at the end of the semester.

For math the blue math group took a test on probability. The green math group also took their tests on linear functions. Algebra is looking at quadratic functions.

In history we are learning about the North and South United States geography, society, economy and transportation. We are working on posters for each one in groups.

In English we are studying gerunds, infinitive phrases, and participles.
