January 13th-17th

In History we are learning about the Articles of Confederation , and a convention that created the Constitution; a new plan of government for the United States.

In Reading we just started a book called Johnny Tremain. It's about a young apprentice silversmith , caught up in the danger and excitement of Boston in the 1770's , just before the Revolutionary War.

In Science we are learning about energy, the different types of energy and how energy changes form. We are also learning about renewable and nonrenewable resources.

In Religion we are learning about making friends and the risks it takes to make and keep friendships.

In Math, 7th grade is learning about percent proportions. 8th Grade is learning about circumference of circles, area, and area of Composite figures.

In English we are learning about Adverbs, Adjectives and Superlative and Comparative Adverbs.

Boys Basketball has a game on Jan. 16th, away game.

Mid-Terms on January 27th.
