Monarch Football vs Cross of Glory

Atonement boys fought bravely in their second game battling back from that 21 point deficit, but in the end it was enough as they lost their home opener 26-28.  There were several positive point in the game.  Four touchdowns were scored by four different receivers including a pass from Jonah to Grady (our only 4th grade player.) Also the defense stepped up with Gabe sacking the quarterback and Reuben intercepting a pass.  There were several tipped balls on defensive.  In the end it was the run that hurt the Monarchs the most.  We look forward to playing again soon.
